Who am I?
I'm a designer who has worked on a bit of everything. I have designed logos, websites, brochures, magazines, event materials, and signage of all shapes and sizes. I even designed my wife’s engagement ring. Talk about pressure! But I think I knocked that design out of the park. Ask me about it sometime.
In my 15 years as a designer have been fortunate to do work for small businesses (like an award-winning restaurant and a rehab center), large companies (like Adobe, Northwestern Mutual, and Aon), and associations (the American Bar Association and APICS). No matter the size of the company or scope of the project, I treat all my work the same.
Inspiration for my work comes from everything I see in the world, be it an advertisement, a new or old building, or even an exotic flower. To become a better and more versatile designer, I try to learn something new every day. It could be something as small as a keyboard shortcut in a design program or something bigger like learning another language.
I don't settle on being the designer I am today, I focus on the designer I want to be tomorrow.
